The Director General of the Sudanese Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, called on the international community to put pressure on the parties that support the rebel terrorist Rapid Support militia with weapons that contributed to prolonging the war, stressing the ability of the Sudanese state to overcome the current crisis and contribute to supporting regional and international peace and stability.

Lieutenant General Mufaddal said during his address to the twelfth meeting of the world’s senior security leaders in the Russian city of Saintburg, with the participation of 106 countries, that the greatest challenge facing Sudan is the regional and international interventions that seek to impose agendas on the Sudanese scene to change the identity and values ​​of the Sudanese state, and to exploit its wealth and resources that have made it a hotbed of international conflict. A suitable environment for terrorist groups to operate.

During the forum, Mufaddal pointed out the violations of the terrorist rebel Rapid Support militia and its targeting of defenseless civilians in Khartoum State and a number of Darfur, Kordofan and Al-Jazira states, and its failure to observe international laws and norms and international and humanitarian law, and its deliberate extermination, killing and displacement of citizens, sabotage and plundering of private and public institutions, in addition to the destruction of communications networks and power stations. In his speech during the forum, Mufaddal revealed that the rebel Rapid Support militia used foreign fighters (mercenaries) from several countries in the region, warning of the seriousness of this to the situation in the entire region.

Lieutenant General Mufaddal described the meeting as a pioneering initiative by the Russian Security Council aimed at strengthening joint cooperation and coordination between agencies concerned with security issues and institutions of law to maintain international stability, and a real point for increasing confidence and interaction between the security and intelligence agencies in the field of combating illegal immigration, preserving national identity and protecting the population. From military conflicts and natural emergencies.
