Petroecuador issued a statement detailing the price of Super gasoline that will govern from tomorrow, May 12. This is the retail price suggested by Petroecuador at its own service stations and those affiliated with the automotive segment. The price increased 11 cents compared to the last price in force since April 2024. Thus, the gallon of Super Premium reaches the value of 4.21 dollars. As of April 12, the price was $4.10.
This stock has been on an upward trend since the beginning of this year. Petroecuador clarified that this value was calculated based on the prices of oil and its derivatives in the international market. These are external factors that are not directly under the control of the country or the public company.
