It’s time for surgical disciplines in the appointments for the renewal of the Department Heads of the ASL Lanciano Vasto Chieti. At the conclusion of the elections within the relevant Committee, he was appointed Liberated Vinegar as director of that Surgical. The hospital component, therefore, returns to the foreground, in light of the appointments made previously, which had “rewarded” the university component in the people of Umberto Benedetto e Domenico Genovesi.
Aceto has been head of the General Oncology Surgery unit at Chieti Hospital since 2022.
As is known – we read in a note from the health company -, it developed at “St. Announced” the activity of obesity and endocrine surgery, becoming a point of reference for many patients struggling with overweight problems. Under the direction of Paolo Innocenti he also dedicated himself to emergency laparoscopic abdominal surgery. He obtained specializations in general surgery and vascular surgery and specialization in phlebology. He has numerous scientific publications to his credit.
“I ask the new Department Director to grow the surgical activity – says the general director of the ASL Thomas Schael – e di support it in all our hospitals. We need to reduce waiting times and passive mobility, a priority objective for this Directorate, therefore I expect great commitment on this front, also with respect to robotics in Chieti. I thank Felice Mucilli for the excellent work done so far, and I am sure that he will not want to miss out on his important contribution for the construction of the new building for surgeries and the operating block”.
Liberato Aceto will also represent the Company within the Joint joint local health authority-university commission.
