A man identified as Robinson Camargo Núñez, 39, died after receiving a severe beating that exposed his brain mass, after allegedly together with another subject they robbed a group of people who decided to pursue them and take justice into their own hands. hands.
The events occurred early Tuesday morning in a sector of Valledupar and later the alleged criminals were caught in the La Popa neighborhood, where they were beaten using blunt elements.
Camargo Núñez suffered serious injuries to his head, back and chest, for which he was transferred to the Santa Isabel clinic where he died a few hours after his admission.
The alleged accomplice was also beaten, but not seriously, so his state of health is stable, according to the police report.
Faced with this situation, relatives of the deceased ask the authorities to do justice, considering that the police did not provide enough help to their loved one.
“A group of people beat him and the police did not arrive and they did nothing to call an ambulance, they allowed all that to happen,” said Nury Núñez, mother of the deceased.
