Suspensions are coming for 52 unvaccinated USL employees of Valle d’Aosta

by admin

Among them a doctor, oss and technicians. Vaccine exemption certificates are being examined

There are 52 “diehards” that the Aosta Valley Usl Company is preparing to suspend for not having vaccinated against Covid-19.

“Starting from tomorrow, also following the evaluation of the impact on the organization and activity of the structures and services, the suspension resolutions will be adopted, which will be notified to the interested parties”, announces the health company.

In the past few weeks, 80 employees had received the last written warning from the USL. By 10 September they should have been vaccinated or communicated the reasons for not vaccinating. After the deadline, 22 nurses, 12 social-health workers, 5 radiology technicians, 1 doctor and 12 belonging to other health professionals did not respond to the reminder. For them the suspension will therefore come as per national provisions, but taking into account the consequences on the activity.

There are also other employees in the balance: they are those who set the date of the vaccination session, but then did not show up.

The other front on which the USL is working concerns the exemption certificates presented by some workers. The certificates will be examined by a commission in the process of being activated. It will be up to three doctors – one on the job, a risk management expert and an allergist clinician – to check them and assess whether everything is in order.
