Second division soccer team SV Elversberg is signing a new player for the coming season.
Professional from Hoffenheim’s second team comes to SV Elversberg
The 21-year-old midfielder Frederik Schmahl comes from the second team of TSG Hoffenheim and has a contract until the summer of 2027, as the promoted team announced on Tuesday.
“Freddy is a strong running and technically adept player. With his comprehension and his understanding of the game, he has the prerequisites to assert himself in Elversberg,” said Elversberg’s sports director Ole Book. The Saarlanders are heading towards remaining in the class, but are not yet saved.
