In front of the press, Minister Tony Mwaba Kazadi avoided this meeting.

« Here we have the operators who help us ensure the pay of teachers, namely IFOD, Equity BCDC, the Central Bank of Congo as well as the Authorizing Officer and even the representation of teachers, therefore the trade unionists. So, in certain educational areas there are teachers who suffer from non-payment, such as in Equateur, Ituri, and Kasai. It was a question of meeting with all the stakeholders to see what is causing this delay in the pay of certain educational provinces so that the situation can be resolved. And that’s what was done« , said Minister Tony Mwaba Kazadi.

« So for the moment, we have tried to identify the problem and the three partners will come together, that is to say the Central Bank of Congo, IFOD and Equity BCDC to think about it and come back on Tuesday to give us the solution because the problem lies at their level. They must talk to each other so that the solution is found and it is on Tuesday that we will hold the last meeting so that possible solutions can be found, and the situation of unpaid teachers in the areas that have been indicated here be resolved ».
