Tex Montes De Oca, current political head of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, He passed away this Sunday afternoon, April 28, 2024.
It occurred during an accident on the private Celeste runway, located in the La Concordia-Puerto Quito bypass, in Santo Domingo.
The news was confirmed by the Government of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas and also by the Municipality of Santo Domingo.
According to preliminary information, Montes De Oca descended to the runway from a small aircraft, from where He was supposed to have jumped by parachute.
Presumably he would have launched with a parachute, but this equipment would have failed during landing.

Tex Montes De Oca was a renowned air pilot and also an extreme sports promoter and tourist guide.

Agents of units of the National Police arrived at the scene of the accident to lift the body and transfer it to the forensic center.
