Images that become ‘spokespersons’ of the beauty of nature
The international competition “Photographing the Park”, an initiative dedicated to nature photography in the Gran Paradiso, Stelvio, Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise and Vanoise parks reaches its fifteenth edition. Professional and amateur photographers can submit up to four shots in the competition categories (landscapes, wildlife, park micro-world and natural details, plant world) and compete for cash prizes or subscriptions to “La Rivista della Natura”.
«The competition – underlines the Gran Paradiso National Park Authority -, created to tell the historical four National Parks through the lens of the camera, has become an opportunity to share with the others take the best of their shots and become a “spokesperson” for the beauty of nature in the four protected areas. The images presented in the competition can in fact be used in the communication campaigns of the four parks, thus providing an important contribution to the growth of sensitivity towards the environmental heritage ».
Participation is free and there is time until November 30th for the presentation of the images.
