For the choir “the whole building” the times are not yet ripe, but with over a thousand fans in the stands – after months of silence and the noise of balls hitting the parquet – it will be like playing in a basin. Almost a year after the last time, PalaSerradimigni opens its doors to the fans of Dinamo, which tonight at 9pm will host Vanoli Cremona.
It is the official debut in the new season, with the match that opens the first phase of the Italian Super Cup as regards group B (Varese rests), and it is also the first ever of the new Dinamo on its own field, after the “long goodbye” to Gianmarco Pozzecco and the return to the saddle of Demis Cavina: the Emilian coach took over the reins of Dinamo 12 years after the end of his two-year experience in Sassari, under the management of Mele.
«Mentally we are ready – Cavina said yesterday -, we want to play. The statements of the kids these days all go in the same direction. It is a team that wants to wear this shirt, wants to play and wants to win. I smile when I hear the guys talking like this: it’s not a strategy, it’s a mentality that we have from the beginning.
