Only from next Thursday stable weather but without excessive heat thanks to the Azores Anti-cyclone

A very hot weekend also promises to be in Piedmont. After the passage of the disturbed front, which caused thunderstorms in some very strong areas on the western and northern sectors of the region, we are witnessing a comeback of African high pressure. Highs therefore abundantly above 30 degrees, on Saturday and Sunday, with peaks in the plains between 34 and 36, and sporadic thunderstorms only in the afternoon and relegated to the Alpine sectors. These are the forecasts of Arpa, the regional agency for environmental protection. On Monday, however, weak infiltrations of colder air are expected at high altitudes which could determine phenomena of more widespread instability on mountain areas and Alpine foothills from the central hours. After July 7-8, the Azores anticyclone should prevail for a few days, as foreseen by Smi (Italian Meteorological Society), with stable weather but without excessive heat.
