The Aqua Festival returns, among the guests Borzacchiello and Campaner – News

Fifteen events at dawn and dusk with guests including Vincenzo Schettini, Mogol with Gioni Barbera, Paolo Borzacchiello, Francesco Costa, Debora Villa, Manuel Agnelli, Gianluca Gotto. The Aqua Festival – The philosophy of the sea’ returns from 15 to 29 June in Jesolo, in the province of Venice, between the beach of Piazza Brescia with the stage by the sea, the Pegaso Park and, new to this second edition, the JMuseum.

A Festival that is growing, with a schedule that combines music, theatre, poetry, scientific dissemination, travel, art, words, thought and many events created ad hoc. Also on stage are Matteo Saudino, Gloria Campaner with Franco Arminio, Paola Turci with Gino Castaldo, Alessandro Bergonzoni, Roberto Cacciapaglia, Luca Beatrice, Lucio Luca and Giovanni Dell’Olivo. The theme of the 2024 edition acts as a common thread: I prefer the sound of the sea.

Promoted by the Municipality of Jesolo and the JesoloVenice Tourist Business Consortium, with the artistic direction of Marilisa Capuano and the organization of Gabriele Vian, the ‘Aqua – The philosophy of the sea’ Festival is free to access, with the exception of the meeting with Paolo Borzacchiello (tickets and purchase methods on www.festivalaqua.it). Preview on June 15th with Francesco Costa and his new book Frontiera, another surprising trip to the United States. Awakening at dawn (at 5.30am – Piazza Brescia beach) with Roberto Cacciapaglia on a musical journey in search of neutrality, of a vocality beyond time. Emotions between poetry and music with Franco Arminio and Gloria Campaner on the piano. A monologue written specifically for the Festival is Madre Acqua by Debora Villa.

Mogol, accompanied on the piano by maestro Gioni Barbera, tells, with the counterpoint of anecdotes and personal stories, the evolution of Italian song since the 1960s. The composer and singer-songwriter Giovanni Dell’Olivo with some musicians from the Collettivo di Lagunaria presents Venetiko Rebetiko, Or: the Tradotte del Mare, a musical journey through the Mediterranean routes.

Paolo Borzacchiello, one of the leading experts in linguistic intelligence, presents Mind your way, his new lesson-show that reveals the way in which language can transform our lives. And again Gianluca Gotto shares his philosophy of travel on an itinerary between spirituality and nature, the former Afterhours frontman, multi-instrumentalist, producer and TV face Manuel Agnelli transports the public on an acoustic and emotional journey also through his first solo project, Love your neighbor as yourself. Lucio Luca will be in Jesolo with his latest book The Night of the Antimafia – An Italian story of power, corruption and denied justice.

Lectio by Luca Beatrice on the link between man and the environment told by Art, by Matteo Saudino, aka BarbaSophia on the forms of “written water”, exclusively for the festival, and by Alessandro Bergonzoni with Quanto fa word for word?.

Vincenzo Schettini, the rock star of scientific dissemination, returns to Jesolo by popular demand, with a new lesson created specifically for the Festival in which he talks about the Physics of the sea. Closing the second edition, on Saturday 29 June, is the unprecedented collaboration between Paola Turci and the music critic Gino Castaldo, which gave life to a new artistic project, Il tempo dei Giganti on the magical three-year period of Italian music, between 1979 and 1981 .
