The Attorney General’s Office is keeping an eye on a complaint for alleged workplace harassment by Hollman Morris at RTVC

In response to reports of alleged workplace harassment against Hollman Morris, deputy manager of the Public Media System – RTVC, the Attorney General’s Office has taken steps to address the allegations.

The manager of RTVC, Nórida Rodríguez, presented to the Public Ministry the complaints made by the directors of Canal Institucional, Lina Moreno, and of Signal Colombia, Silvana Orlandelli.

In response to these allegations, the Second Delegate Attorney General’s Office for the Surveillance of Public Function has requested to the RTVC Coexistence Committee that processes the complaints and make relevant decisions. This call to action seeks to address the complaints of intimidating and disrespectful treatment by Hollman Morris towards his colleagues.

The Attorney General’s request is based on the article 9 of Law 1010 of 2006, which establishes the obligation to exhaust the process before the Labor Coexistence Committee before initiating any disciplinary or sanctioning procedure. The Attorney General’s Office urges the Committee to act quickly and report on the decisions taken.

Morris responds

Given this situation of which he is accused, Hollman Morris said: “For more than 30 years in this country, I have endured all types of accusations, smear campaigns, criminal persecution, headlines that accuse me of crimes, and until the day of Today a prosecutor of the nation has never found merit to open a single investigation, I have never been in front of a judge of the Republic,” Morris responded.

“Rest assured that no matter how many low and mean attacks that took my father to the grave, that today destroy a family, put the lives of my children and mine at risk, I will not renounce my lifelong convictions, I will continue fighting for a progressive country, I will continue maintaining my editorial position in the face of what is happening in Palestine, which is a genocide, and we will continue through Signal Colombia broadcasting the hearings of the @JEP_Colombia, to turn it into the great minister of education for peace and social justice in Colombia,” Morris concluded.
