Recently, party members and volunteers from the Donglin Town Health Center took initiative in popularizing first aid knowledge to the students of No. 2 Primary School in Donglin Town. This educational effort took place on March 1st, aiming to enhance the emergency protection and rescue capabilities of the students.
At the beginning of the new semester, the Emergency Management Service Center of Donglin Town, Wuxing District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province collaborated with the Donglin Town Health Center to kickstart a series of themed activities dubbed āSafety in the First Lesson of Schoolā in local primary and secondary schools. Through emergency escape drills, fire-fighting exercises, and dissemination of first aid knowledge, children were provided with tools to strengthen campus safety, essentially building a secure āfirewallā for emergency situations.
On the day of the event, students from No. 2 Primary School participated in fire-fighting drills, where they learned to operate fire extinguishers under expert guidance. Additionally, emergency escape drills were conducted to prepare the students for unforeseen circumstances.
The effort was commended by all, as staff from the Donglin Town Emergency Management Service Center demonstrated the correct usage of fire extinguishers to students, ensuring that they were equipped with the necessary skills to handle emergencies effectively.
With the help of dedicated volunteers and experts, the students of Donglin Town were able to enhance their emergency preparedness and safety awareness. Through initiatives like these, communities can work together to create a safer environment for future generations.
