According to the website of the Ministry of Public Security, Zhao Kezhi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Minister of the Ministry of Public Security of the Communist Party of China, presided over an (expanded) meeting of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Public Security on October 1 to inform the former Deputy Minister of Public Security Sun Lijun of the decision to expel his party membership and public office.
The meeting called for the thorough “elimination of the influence of Sun Li’s military poisoning” and the elimination of political hidden dangers, and that it should always be consistent with Xi Jinping’s core.
