LESSOLO
The municipal offices of Lessolo are already active in the new town hall obtained from the reconstruction of the former elementary school, in front of the nineteenth-century building that housed the old municipality. The inauguration took place on Saturday afternoon, one day earlier than expected in order not to overlap with the events of the patron saint of San Savino in Ivrea.
The event was attended, in addition to the various associations of the town, by the mayors of Ivrea, Stefano Sertoli, of Pavone Endro Bevolo, of Banchette d’Ivrea, Antonio Mazza, of Settimo Vittone, Sabrina Noro, of Samone, Lorenzo Poletto, the councilor Alberto Avetta, the director of the ASL / To4, Stefano Scarpetta, the representatives of the Sertec company, who followed the project in every phase of its realization, father Mario Bianchi and the president of the pro retinopathic and visually impaired association open onlus Marco Bongi .
Mayor Elena Caffaro did the honors: «We are in a place that is important for many of us. In what I have often called the beating heart of Lessolo and where most of us have memories related to childhood and school. Here, in 2018, we inaugurated the square named after my father Valter Caffaro, who was the mayor of the town for 30 years. The new headquarters is the result of a project process shared between the technicians in charge and the municipal administration, with the approval of the Superintendency ». The home automation system Bms (Building management system) at the service of the building allows the monitoring of energy consumption relating to the electrical system, the air conditioning system and more generally to special systems. Effectively controls the use of the new wi-fi system, LED lights and motorized external blinds for solar shading. In addition, a photovoltaic system integrated into the roof was installed, made with opaque cells and a red backsheet, similar to brick, in order to minimize not only the environmental impact but also the visual one. Even the taps and bathroom fixtures were chosen from those that allowed less waste.
“And for next year – he added – we will focus on the project for the restoration of the remaining part of the building that previously housed the town hall. It will then have a social destination that we are evaluating in agreement with the Piedmont Region. The options include a connection with the services offered by the nursing home, or services to help families with minors ». –
