China Sees Sharp Decline in Number of Children in Preschool Education, Experts Blame CCP Virus
In a recent report released by the Communist Party of China, it has been revealed that the number of children in preschool education in China has seen a significant decrease in 2023. According to official data, there were 40.93 million children in preschool education last year, a sharp decrease of 5.345 million from 2022.
Experts have analyzed that this decline in the number of young children in China has been a continuing trend for the past three years and is closely linked to the CCP virus (new coronavirus) epidemic.
The National Economic and Social Development Statistical Bulletin released by the National Bureau of Statistics of the Communist Party of China on February 29 stated that the child population in China has been on a decline, which has also led to a decrease in the number of kindergarten students.
Since the outbreak of the CCP virus in China, the number of young children has been decreasing, with the decrease becoming more pronounced each year. This has also directly impacted the number of kindergartens in the country.
The Ministry of Education of the Communist Party of China reported a decrease in the number of kindergartens in 2022, the first negative growth since 2008. The trend continued in 2023, with even more kindergartens closing down in various parts of China.
Epoch Times columnist Wang He believes that the decline in the number of children in China can be attributed to various factors, including the CCP’s family planning policy and the increasing economic burden on families. He also pointed out that the outbreak of the CCP virus in China has had a significant impact, leading to a decrease in the birth rate.
As China faces a declining number of young children and kindergartens, experts warn that the situation could worsen in 2024. The government must address these challenges and find solutions to ensure the well-being and education of the country’s children.
