With the appointment of February 20th at 3pmthe online training course planned as part of the regional project begins for accessible tourism In Emilia-Romagna there is a holiday for me.
It’s about a webinar series which have the objective of raise awareness operators in the tourism sector about the needs of tourists with disabilities or other conditions that require special attention (food allergies, advanced pregnancy, newborns), specializing the reception system in the accommodation of tourists with special needs.
The topics addressed range from opportunities offered by this market to the tools available to access them, give them insights into the various types of disabilities at good practice which we can draw inspiration from.
Each webinar includes a final Q&A (questions and answers) sessionduring which participants will be able to interact with the speaker, ask questions and receive answers live.
How to fill out the questionnaire
The first training event will focus on the questionnaire for collecting information relating to the characteristics of tourist structures and services, a tool used by the project to simplify the retrieval of useful information for tourists with special needs and to promote the tourist offer already existing on the territory for this type of customer.

The objectives of the training
The proposed training course will not only intend to transfer information and knowledge but will act on the vision and approach to the customer, putting the operator in a position to make the best use of both the tools at his disposal and those that will be proposed. The ultimate goal is to allow entrepreneurs in the tourism supply chain to identify and implement effective solutions for all customers, allowing them to seize the enormous opportunities offered by this market segment.
Recordings of the webinars will then be available on the channel YouTube of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
