On the afternoon of January 25, the Presidium of the Second Session of the 16th Municipal People’s Congress held its fifth meeting. Xie Laifa, Jiang Wending, Liao Qizhi, Liu Ruiying, Zhou Meixiang, Yang Hongmin, Xiao Lixin, Luo Baixi, Xu Zhihong, Liu Wuai, Hu Di and other members of the presidium attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Liu Wuai.
There are 64 members of the presidium of the second session of the 16th Municipal People’s Congress, and 57 people actually attended the meeting, which is in line with the quorum.
The meeting heard the conference secretariat’s report on the deliberation of the draft resolutions of the government work report, the work report of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, the work report of the Municipal Intermediate People’s Court, the work report of the Municipal People’s Procuratorate, as well as the draft resolutions of the plan report and the budget report. And decided to submit six draft resolutions to the plenary meeting of the General Assembly for voting.
