Storm in the evening on the right Piave, flooding in Gron di Sospirolo
A violent storm hit the Valbelluna in the evening and was particularly violent on the right of the Piave.
The firefighters intervened in Barp di Sedico along the road to the small hamlet of Comuni Alti, where the carriageway collapsed due to a landslide. One of the local residents called the fire brigade. The road was made safe and cordoned off by the fire brigade and the mayor, Stefano Deon, arrived on the spot for the ordinance relating to the practicability of the road.
Almost at the same time, the firefighters also had to intervene in Gron di Sospirolo, due to the flooding of two basements where the height of the water reached one meter.
In the meantime, the closure of Via Marisiga, in Belluno, continued beyond what had been thought, where an accident between two cars occurred before 9pm. In the collision there was only one minor injury, but the reliefs went on for a long time and at 11.15 pm the traffic had not yet started to circulate.
