The second session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee held a group interview titled “I am a member” on January 19. This event served as an opportunity for ten committee members to share their experiences, performance of duties, and practices based on their own work. The members spoke about their commitment to learning, innovative work, and performing their duties for the people.
One committee member, Yang Yang, detailed the CPPCC learning activities he participated in during 2023. As a member who comes from the front line of the media, Yang emphasized the importance of transforming learning results into job performance skills. He also spoke about his role in producing a unique New Year’s Eve cultural communication campaign.
Another member, Fu Ruoqing, focused on understanding the cultural needs of the masses through research visits and study discussions. Through these experiences, Fu was able to implement a “people-centered” creative concept and promote high-quality development of the film industry.
Various other committee members from different sectors, including education, healthcare, and agriculture, also shared their innovative approaches to performing their duties and providing high-quality advice and suggestions to benefit the people they serve.
The members expressed their intention to bring the voices of the grassroots and the masses to the meeting. They emphasized the importance of staying true to their original aspirations and performing their duties for the people.
Overall, the group interview highlighted the ongoing commitment of CPPCC members to continuously improve their skills and bring the concerns of the people to the forefront of their work.
