According to comprehensive land media reports, affected by the floods, the Changyuan River Bridge abutment between Qixian Station and Dongguan Station on the Shanxi-Xinan Tongpu Railway was washed down a few days ago, and the sleepers were suspended, causing the Zhinan Tongpu Railway to be suspended. As of October 7 , The number of outage passenger trains has increased to 10.

The online video showed that a few meters of railroad tracks were suspended in the air, and a freight train on the railroad tracks stopped urgently, which was very dangerous.

On the 6th, the water level of the Xianyang River Reservoir in Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province once again exceeded the warning line and overflowed all around, flooding farmland, also threatening the safety of the Nantongpu Railway Line.

In addition, the Wuma River in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province has experienced heavy rainfall for several days. In addition to the flood discharge from the upstream reservoirs, the Qingxu and Qixian sections of the Wuma River broke out on the 5th and many facilities were flooded. Xiaowu Village, Qingxu County , Mengfeng Village and many other villages were flooded. Approximately 15,000 people moved from 8 villages that night.

It is reported that at present, the local rainfall is still continuing, and there have been four dams in Qingxu and Qixian sections of the Wuma River that have breached.

The Wuma River is a regional tributary of the Fen River with a total length of 93 kilometers. It flows through Taigu County, Qi County and Qingxu County, and has the Pangzhuang Reservoir upstream.

On the 7th, the Tourism Bureau of Pingyao County, Shanxi, issued a notice stating that Shuyuan Street, Jiaochang Alley, Government Street, Chenghuang Temple Street, Shangximen Street, Fan Street, South Street, Wudao Temple Street, Haizi Street, Cangxiang Street, Confucian Temple Street in the ancient city of Pingyao Some walls in Helan Bridge Street collapsed.

According to the notice, many roads in the ancient city are in danger, and people and vehicles will be prohibited from passing from the 7th; there is a risk of collapse in the exterior walls of houses in Xihujing Street and Parrot Lane in the ancient city, and vehicles and people are prohibited from passing.
