The Valledupar Clinic celebrates its 48th anniversary. During these years it has remained firm despite the different dilemmas that have affected the health sector. OROn May 11, 1976, 25 partners made the decision to open the health center as an entity that over time has been adapting to the changes in the system.
Neyla Paola Peluffo Arias, Valledupar SA Clinic Manager, in dialogue with EL PILÓN, He spoke about the challenges that the entity has overcome and praised the human resources which, according to his description, have been fundamental for the medical center to be maintained for more than four decades.
Likewise, he highlighted that the group of health workers who have been part of the entity have earned different recognitions that have helped position the Valledupar Clinic as one of the consolidated firms in the health area.
“Human resources have been fundamental to being able to maintain ourselves. The name of the Valledupar Clinic continues to be recognized, the entity has been around for 48 years, with a name that has been recovering,” said Neyla Paola Pitufo Arias.
“We have received several recognitions at the national level, including Dr. Andrés Bornacelli, Guillermo Orozco, among other professionals. Today we are part of the Medical Clinic Group. We maintain more than 500 workers, including administrative, medical and healthcare personnel,” the official said.
He highlighted that 2024 is a very important year. During the month of May they will celebrate Mother’s Day, like Nurses’ Day. The commemorations will also feature a thanksgiving mass with the aim of exalting the group of 208 nurses that remain active in the entity.
“During the last four years we have been recovering the name of the Valledupar clinic, we have increased the level of patient admission, the satisfaction level is above 48 percent. In 2023 we served 43 thousand users with an average of 3,583 monthly,” he mentioned.
As a curious fact, it is important to remember that the Valledupar Clinic It had its first operational headquarters where the Cesar Clinic operates today, then they were located in the facilities of the old Avianca and later moved to their current headquarters.
