CAGLIARI. With its “Teatridimare” it is docked in various ports of the Mediterranean and beyond. The world of culture is in mourning for the death of Francesco Origo. The director, navigator-actor, skipper, captain of a sailing boat with his company of artists on board died at the age of 62 and who brought applauded shows to numerous docks transformed into stages. Genoese by birth, Sardinian and Cagliari by adoption, the founder of the Càjka Company has crossed the entire scene of the Italian theater with over forty years of career as an actor, teacher, director and artistic director.

Alongside him, the most important names of the Italian cultural and theatrical scene, directors, actors, writers: from Carlo Cecchi to Cesare Garboli, from Elsa Morante to Benedetta Buccellato, from Mariangela Melato to Maurizio Crozza, from Massimo Lopez to Valerio Binasco.
