In a police operation carried out in the municipality of Cartago, in the department of Valle del Cauca, the authorities captured Juan Cifuentes Echeverry, alias “Seño”, who would be responsible for invigorating the criminal activities of the criminal group “Los Flacos” in the region.
Alias “Seño” was, presumably, the person in charge of financing the armed confrontation between “Los Flacos”, Nueva Alianza and Águila, groups that dispute control of microtrafficking and other illicit activities in Valle del Cauca.
The capture occurred when alias “Seño” tried to escape through the ceilings of the residence where he was hiding. The timely action of the National Police allowed his arrest and the seizure of evidentiary material which would incriminate him for the crimes of conspiracy to commit an aggravated crime, trafficking, manufacturing or carrying of narcotics and manufacturing, trafficking and carrying of firearms.
