The National Civil Police (PNC) reported on the arrest they have made of a subject accused of the crime of femicide.
This is Saúl Ernesto Alvarado Saldaña, whom police authorities identify as being responsible for murdering a 22-year-old woman yesterday in Jayaque, La Libertad.
According to the police report, during the procedure the firearm with which he used to commit the crime was seized.
In the next few hours, Saldaña will be placed before prosecutor’s orders to be prosecuted for femicide, a crime for which he could spend decades behind bars.
