Authorities from the Executive Branch, FIFA, Conmebol and the APF met today regarding the preparatory work for the events that will take place in our country, within the framework of the opening match for the 2030 World Cup.
“We are all together as one team” was the message from the president of the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) Alejandro Dominguez, when celebrating the start of work so that this important event brings benefits to the country.
President Peña addressed the representatives of the highest soccer body, expressing his gratitude for allowing our country to host such an important event, highlighting that “Paraguay is a very important country not only on the sports map, but on the world map.”
