The authorities are after the search for the murderers of an indigenous girl fifteen-year-old murdered in the urban area of ​​Buenaventura.

In this fact, according to the authorities, his two brothers aged 17 and 22 were injured.

The Association of the Council of Authorities of the Wounaan People of Colombia released a statement in which it rejected this fact and reported that the victims were part of a family that arrived displaced from the San Juan riverproduct of the armed conflict that plagues this region.

According to the organization, the events occurred when the minor “heard someone knocking on the front door of the house, believing it was her father, she opened it, finding an armed subject who I gave him several shots with a firearm and also fired at the youths.”

Capture

The authorities reported the capture of a group of men who allegedly participated in the attack so they are in the process of judicialization.

Likewise, it is believed that the authors are part of the criminal gang the Shotas.

In addition, witnesses reported that three men were the perpetrators of said action, who fled on a motorcycle.

The indigenous family had left Litoral del San Juan, department of Chocó, fleeing the armed conflict which crosses their territory and had taken refuge in the town center of this town.

Arlington Agudelo, Secretary of the Government of Buenaventura, stated that “a displaced and indigenous community is being attacked. The brothers of the murdered minor of 17 and 22 years are being treated in a clinic in the city. We were present at the scene and all the necessary protocols were activated to restore the rights that have been violated.”

For his part, Edwin Patiño, representative of Buenaventura, rejected these facts and reported that the Indigenous family is protecting by the authorities for which she was transferred to another place.
