Violence once again left victims in Colombia, after the first massacre of 2024 was recorded, in which three people who were in an establishment in the El Edén neighborhood, in the La Hormiga municipality, in the department of Putumayo, in the southwest of the country.

El Espectador reports that, in addition, one person was injured after an armed attack perpetrated last Monday by unknown individuals who entered a billiards establishment and shot at those present.
For his part, Colonel Juan Pablo Ruiz, commander of the Putumayo Police Department, explained that the three fatalities were passing through the municipality of that entity and planned to continue to Ecuador, a country bordering that entity.
A reward for information about the massacre
The names of the victims are Deimer Rosario Cuadrado, a native of the municipality of Montelíbano, in Córdoba; and Brayan Santiago Gómez and Miguel Ángel Váquiro Palencia, from the municipality of Garzón, in Huila.

After what happened, the Putumayo Police reported on the networks that they are offering a reward of 10 million pesos (about $2,500) to those who provide information to identify the murderers.
