Two criminals from the 18 gang were arrested this Tuesday by the Police, within the framework of the war against the gangs.
The suspects were identified by authorities as José Oswaldo Moreno Linares, alias Fénix, and Kevin Ernesto Orellana Melara, nicknamed iguana face.
According to police information, the arrests were made on the Los Naranjos highway, which connects Santa Ana with Sonsonate.
Regarding the crimes that the subjects are accused of, the Police detailed that they are responsible for proposition and conspiracy to commit aggravated homicide. In this case, they are linked to at least three victims.
Both were placed under the orders of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) to begin the criminal process in the courts against organized crime.
