In the municipality of El Pital, Huila, a serious case of poisoning was recorded last Wednesday, which affected six people.
According to preliminary reports, the event took place in the town of La Florida and after the case arose, the people were taken to healthcare centers. Three of the affected people were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the San Antonio de Padua Hospital in the neighboring municipality of La Plata.
The medical staff of this health center has been providing specialized care to the patients, who showed alarming signs of poisoning at the time of their admission. According to the Secretary of Health of Huila, the evolution of these people is positive.
