SAN GIORGIO DI NOGARO. At around 16.30 today, Tuesday 5 July, the A4 motorway section between San Giorgio di Nogaro and Latisana towards Venice was closed due to an accident. In the impact – which took place near the municipality of Palazzolo dello Stella – three articulated lorries were involved. A person is stuck in their middle.
Furthermore, due to the accident, one of the heavy vehicles lost its load of rocky material on the roadway. 118 on site, the fire brigade, the traffic police for the reliefs, the staff of Autovie Venete and the mechanical rescue vehicles. Vehicles coming from Trieste are taken out in San Giorgio di Nogaro. The entrance to San Giorgio towards Venice is also closed.
