(ANSA) – PERUGIA, 08 MAY – Domenico D’Andrea, 38, nicknamed Pippotto, the inmate escaped from the Perugia prison on Friday during the hours of external work that he carried out in a building adjacent to the prison and in any case inside the area where the complex is located.

The mobile police squad identified him in the Prepo area, also in the Umbrian capital. D’Andrea was alone. In the Perugia prison he was serving a life sentence for the murder of Salvatore Buglione, a municipal employee killed on 4 September 2006 in Naples during an attempted robbery while he was in his wife’s newsstand.
