Tragedy during a sailing regatta in Livorno. A 51-year-old sailor died today, April 30, following an accident during a regatta as part of the International Sailing Week.
The man, according to what has been learned, but the reconstruction of the facts is still being examined by the police, during a maneuver of the boat was violently hit by the boom in the head, losing consciousness and falling into the sea. Shortly after he was rescued by rescuers who transferred him to the hospital where he died soon after.

The dead sailor is a 51 year old from Cattolica (Rimini).
