Trapani, a one-year-old child burns himself with boiling water: taken to Catania by helicopter rescue

2nd degree burns and helicopter rescue transfer to the Cannizzaro hospital in Catania for a one-year-old child living in Vita, in the Trapani area. The child got injured with hot water during a domestic accident.

At first he was transported in a 118 ambulance to the Salemi hospital, then to Castelvetrano. After the first intervention by the doctors of the emergency area, the child was transported by helicopter rescue to the large burn center of Cannizzaro in Catania, given the lack of places in the burn center of the Civic of Palermo.
