SANTA LUZIA, Brazil, April 9, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — TrinaTracker, a division of Trina Solar, is proud to announce its contribution to the 520 MW Santa Luzia complex, one of the largest solar power plants in Brazil. The facility, which is currently being commissioned, is fully equipped with Vanguard 1P trackers with the SuperTrack Smart Tracking algorithm.

TrinaTracker began delivery last year on the project, which covers more than 1,700 hectares and consists of nine components. Once connected to the grid, it will power approximately 123,000 homes and reduce CO2 emissions by 380,000 tons. The project created almost 1 000 local jobs during the construction phase and, once completed, will deliver economic, environmental and social benefits and promote sustainable development in the region.
