His name became relevant in the second council meeting of La Unión Norte, where he asked for a minimum salary of $3,000 for substitute councilors and $5,000 for owner councilors, which was harshly criticized on social networks.
The mayor of La Unión Norte, Edwin Serpas, read the note from the Supreme Electoral Tribunal that literally said: That Legislative Decree 1015 in its article 3 refers to the fact that those officials who are in default will not be able to take possession of their positions. .
The first to vote was Serpas, who said he voted in favor of his removal from office.
Given that comment, Zúniga immediately stood up from his seat and shook hands with each of the attendees so as not to interfere in the vote that would be taken at that moment.
