Celldemic leads to a robust immune response in adults and children three weeks after administration of two doses of the vaccine three weeks apart, informs the EMA. The most common adverse vaccination reactions in adults are pain at the injection site, fatigue, headache, malaise and muscle and joint pain. In children between the ages of six and 18, the most common side effects are similar, plus loss of appetite and nausea. In children aged six months to less than six years, injection site tenderness, irritability, sleepiness, change in eating habits and fever are common after vaccination.
