According to mainland media reports, the incident happened at about 1 pm on the 14th. At a distance of 413 kilometers and 600 meters from the Daqin Railway, a freight train parked at Cuipingshan Station slipped off the line and collided with a running freight train, causing 17 carriages. Off the line, 11 of them fell under the railway bridge.

The video circulated on the Internet showed that many carriages fell under the bridge, and dust rolled up at the scene, and many people were watching. Witness Mr. Yang said that there was a huge collision sound at the scene, which could be heard hundreds of meters away.

According to reports, the two trains were freight trains and did not carry passengers. The drivers of the two trains jumped out of their cars before they collided, suffering minor injuries.
