The 32-year-old and the 55-year-old, both from the Steyr-Land district, visited a restaurant in Bad Hall on Friday evening. At around 9:30 p.m. the two were attacked by several men for an unknown reason.
Even when the 55-year-old was already lying on the ground, he was still trampled on by the unknown people. The victims suffered injuries. According to witness statements, the attackers fled in an older red BMW with SR license plates and a gray Audi with KI license plates.
The Bad Hall police station is asking for information on 059133/4151.
