Two Colombian soldiers died this Monday in an attack with explosives perpetrated by members of the Dagoberto Ramos columnof the divided Central General Staff (EMC), the main dissident of the former FARC, in the turbulent department of Cauca (southwest), sources from the Colombian Army reported.
The Third Division of the military institutionand detailed in a statement that the troops were carrying out operations in the village of Golondrinasfrom the municipality of Silvia, when they were attacked with “improvised explosive devices” by members of the Dagoberto Ramos column, an act in which the population living in the area was put at risk.
