The signing of the agreement should take place next week. Meanwhile, there is a slowdown in the arrivals of refugees
BELLUNO. Within next week, the municipality of Belluno will sign an agreement with the Prefecture for the use of the former fire station for the reception of Ukrainian refugees. They reiterated this today Wednesday 20 April in the meeting at the Rectors’ Palace in which the point was made on the Ukrainian emergency. The Mussoi building will be able to accommodate up to a maximum of 85 refugees. Instead, the former police station of Santo Stefano di Cadore was eliminated from the reception facilities because it was not accessible.
There are 1,240 Ukrainians who fled the war in the province and 139 of these are housed in the structures made available to the municipalities.
The recovery of refugees who want to work during their stay in the province is also proceeding.
