Through Decree 00052 of April 8, 2024, the Mayor of Valledupar, Ernesto Orozco Durán, decreed April 30, May 2, 3 and 4 as civic days for the celebration of the 57th edition of Vallenata Legend Festival in the city.

Civic Days are declared in the Municipality of Valledupar, from the afternoon of April 30, May 2 and 3, 2024, which correspond to the business days during which the celebration of the 57th Version of the Festival of the Vallenata legend in the city of Valledupar”reads the decree.

Measure excepts public servants and/or contractors of the municipality of Valledupar who must attend process schedules contractual and those linked to health services for emergency care, prevention and care of disasters and risks, security and citizen coexistence, essential public services, mobility, transit and Public Forces.

TIMELINE

The municipal president invited locals and visitors to participate in each of the events that take place in Valledupar within the framework of the Vallenato Festival that this year pays tribute to ‘La Voz Tenor’ Iván Villazón.

Los festival contests officially start on April 29 with children’s and youth accordion player competitions.
