The official explained that the resources come from the taxes that care pays annually.
“The request is made to the trust since the municipality is in Law 550; The money is collected through property tax, fire surcharge, and after this, the administration makes a request to the trust administration that is sent to the municipality and when this resource reaches the municipality’s coffers, the payment of this type is made. of agreements”, he indicated.
The situation in the Valledupar Volunteer Fire Department is critical because they are owed 11 salaries, eight bonuses, regulatory bonuses and provision to provide their services. However, in the face of this they have continued to attend to emergencies in the city and townships.
