A man will be prosecuted for having murdered his partner in an incident that occurred in the El Matazano canton, municipality of San Juan Opico, department of La Libertad, as confirmed by the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) this Saturday.
The subject, identified as Josué Eduardo Platero Mina, 20 years old, is already detained for the crime of resistance, but will be notified of this new accusation of aggravated homicide, for which he will face another criminal process.
According to tax investigations, Platero Mina injured his partner on multiple occasions and hit her repeatedly, causing her death. After this, he threw her into a ravine near a ravine in the sector known as Cuesta Los Conacastes.
After his capture, the authorities carried out a raid on the accused’s home, finding a septic tank where the victim’s phone and wallet were, with his personal documents and the knife with which the crime was perpetrated.
