VITTORIO VENETO. The pandemic advises against close confession between the penitent and the priest, separated perhaps only by a grate. They could both wear masks, but the confessional does not allow distancing in any case.

Here, then, is that for Christmas the bishop Corrado Pizziolo authorized confessions in public with general absolution, during a penitential liturgical action in church.
