The picture was not only interesting for fast car enthusiasts, but also for law enforcement agencies. Vyboha was suspected of avoiding prosecution in Dubai.
Shortly before the publication of the photo, NAKA investigator Monika Barčáková and Výboha’s defense attorneys reached their peak in their tussle about his questioning, which ultimately did not take place.
The details of how the interrogation did not take place are captured in the resolution of the judge of the Specialized Criminal Court, Michal Truban, by which he dismissed the indictment against the oligarch on June 28. We obtained the anonymized resolution after an information request.
