Wang Huadong Guides Xiangshan District Democratic Life Meeting
On January 15, the Xiangshan District Party Committee Standing Committee held a special democratic life meeting on the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the theme of inspection and rectification. Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Wang Huadong attended the entire meeting to guide and deliver speeches. Members of the Provincial Party Committee’s Second Circuit Supervision Group were also in attendance.
The meeting reported in writing the implementation of the 2022 District Committee Standing Committee Democratic Life Meeting and thematic education rectification. The Secretary of the Xiangshan District Party Committee made a cross-check on behalf of the District Committee Standing Committee, and each standing committee member made a cross-check in turn and carried out mutual criticism.
When commenting on his speech, Wang Huadong pointed out that the special democratic life meeting was fully prepared before the meeting, the cross-examination was proactive and in-depth, mutual criticism was serious and candid, and the rectification measures were pragmatic and effective, achieving the expected purpose.
During his speech, Wang Huadong emphasized the need to continue to deepen learning and strengthen theoretical arming. He urged for the in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, continuously improve political ability, thinking ability, and practical ability, and enhance the ability of high-quality development, the ability to serve the people, and the ability to prevent and resolve risks.
He stressed the importance of firmly establishing the idea of “living a tight life” and careful evaluation of projects to prevent ineffective and inefficient investments. Wang Huadong also emphasized the need to strictly manage cadres, cultivate professional capabilities, and implement the political responsibility of comprehensively and strictly administering the party.
Relevant responsible comrades from the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee, and the Theme Education Office of the Municipal Party Committee attended the meeting.
