Karachi: Thousands of meters of pipes and excavators were also recovered in the water board operation against water theft in Manghopir.

According to the details, acting on the special orders of CEO Water Board Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, the in-charge anti-theft cell water board Tabish Raza Hasnain along with the police stepped up operations against water thieves during the operation on Manghopir Road. Two illegal connection attempts failed, according to the in-charge anti-theft cell, water thieves mafia were making illegal connections from HTM’s line.

During the operation, thousands of meters of water pipes and other equipment and excavators were recovered and a case was registered under Water Board Act 14 A at Manghopir police station.
