From tomorrow 5 December a new outbreak of Arctic air is preparing to invest Italy

ROME. A new irruption of Arctic air is preparing to invest Italy by generating a depression center that will drive a disturbance driven by strong Libeccio winds. Following this, a new wave of winter bad weather will hit our country, with snowfall up to the plains in the north. At times, even quite intense rains will hit the southern Tyrrhenian coasts and western Sardinia. The provinces of Salerno, Potenza, Catanzaro, but also Sassari and Oristano will be the most affected by rainfall.

In Sardinia the flakes will fall immediately at 900 meters. The vortex will rapidly move southward by the beginning of next week, meanwhile cold winds from the Tramontana will begin to blow across the country causing both day and night temperatures to drop. Snow is expected from Cuneo, Milan and Venice.
